The Guggenheim Society recognizes members and friends who demonstrate their deep commitment to contemporary art and our international presence by making a life income gift or including the Guggenheim in their estate plans. Through their generosity and foresight, these individuals play a key role in assuring a sound foundation for the Guggenheim in New York and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. Their gifts provide general operating income or support a specific department or program at the Guggenheim, and express their lasting commitment to the arts and our international presence. Guggenheim Society Members receive invitations to selected events and programs. They are recognized, with their permission, in the Annual Report to Donors and other publications. The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation (the "Guggenheim") is a publicly supported, non-profit education corporation that operates the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy, the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum in Las Vegas, and collaborates in the programming and operations of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in Spain, and the Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin, Germany. Gifts may be directed to the Guggenheim Museum, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, or to support the Guggenheim's operations and programs generally. Solomon R.
