for its benefit.
- Safety Language: Language
added whenever a gift is restricted
In the event the purposes of the restriction, in the opinion
of the Board of Trustees of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation worldwide can
no longer be served, the Board may devote any remaining assets
exclusively for charitable purposes that: (a) are within the
scope of the charitable purposes of charity; (b) most nearly approximate
the original purpose of the gift; and (c) benefit charity.
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is publicly supported, non-profit education corporation that operates the Guggenheim in New York, the Peggy Guggenheim collection in Venice, Italy, the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum in Las Vegas, and the Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin, Germany. Gifts may be directed to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation to Benefit the Guggenheim generally, or may be directed to the Guggenheim Museum in New York or the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice.
